We’re back with daily news items to get you caught up on some stories that might interest you on the New Orleans Saints!

Katherine Terrell | NOLA.com | NFL takes back $21,000 fine on safety Rafael Bush following appeal

"The NFL has taken back a $21,000 fine against New Orleans Saints safety Rafael Bush following a successful appeal, according to his agent Brian Anderson.“I just realized it took me 3 months to appeal my last fine yep can I have my 21 back now thank you,” Bush tweeted Wednesday night.”"

I didn’t realize it would take so long for the NFL to make a decision on this matter, but I guess better late than never, right? We anticipate some more hard hits from Bush this season, as he should see plenty of playing time despite being lined up behind Jairus Byrd and Kenny Vaccaro.

Mike Triplett | ESPN | Loomis: No deadline for Graham deal

"“So we’ll just keep plugging away at the process. He’s got a great agent. And all his people, they know what they’re doing, and so do we. Hopefully we’ll come to a conclusion at some point.”"

We all know by now that it’s not a matter of if the deal gets done, but when the deal gets done. Mickey Loomis has done a fantastic job of working the Saints salary cap this offseason, and if the two parties can reach the long-term deal, we’d like to think it would desperately help the Saints cap situation for future years to come.

Larry Holder | NOLA.com | New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton says skillset a major factor in signing cornerback Champ Bailey

"Attributes like “leadership” and “instincts” topped the list of reasons why New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton said the team secured future Hall of Fame cornerback Champ Bailey to a two-year deal, with the ink officially drying Wednesday on the contract."

I was already a firm believer in Champ Bailey, but now you have Coach Payton’s blessings.

Katherine Terrell | NOLA.com | LSU receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to meet with New Orleans Saints

"“It’s kinda crazy. I always talked about how I wanted to play in the Dome in high school and I never got the chance,” Beckham said. “I got one chance in college and it wasn’t what I expected it to be or wanted at all, so it’s just crazy seeing those guys here. Even the possibility of getting to play in my hometown, in the Dome is a surreal feeling.”"

As per the story, Beckham had dinner with the Saints on Wednesday after LSU’s Pro Day. If Beckham lasts until pick #27, then I believe He has a fantastic chance to wind up on the team. However, it’s hard to see him lasting that long.
