1. Jairus Byrd, S, New Orleans Saints 

New Orleans franchised Jimmy Graham and re-signed offensive tackle Zach Strief, but otherwise made just two actual signings in free agency. Landing Byrd was a gigantic one and the only one they made worth mentioning. Even better is that he fills a need and ends up being a massive upgrade over the now gone Malcolm Jenkins, who was always playing out of position at safety. Paired with second-year safety Kenny Vaccaro, Byrd should come in and give the Saints one of the most formidable end of the line units in the entire league.
