#10 – Lance Moore
2014 Salary Cap Figure: $5,068,750
2014 Base Salary: $3,100,000
Dead Money: $2,537,500
Potential Cap Savings: $2,531,250
Contracted Through: 2015

Lance Moore, the undrafted rookie free agent out of Toledo, has been a part of the Saints franchise since the 2006 season. While known for his colorful dances in the end zone, trademark first down signals, and perhaps best of all his smile, Moore is one of Who Dat Nation’s fan favorites. Moore had a career season in 2011 in receiving yards, going over 1,000 for the first time in his career.

2014 Outlook: As much of a fan favorite Lance Moore is, his return is in question, and Moore could suffer a fate similar to Devery Henderson, who played with the Saints from 2004-2012. Moore will turn 31 in August, and as a ‘part-time’ guy in the Saints offense, this gets quite sticky, as the team can hope someone like Andy Tanner or Nick Toon would take over and emerge.

Final Decision: Restructured or Released
