The New Orleans Saints will have their hands full with many roster decisions for the 2014 season. The team enters free agency roughly around $140M, which will be well over the salary cap by some $13-14M as it is. Estimates put the Salary Cap around $126.3M.

What does that mean? Reality for familiar faces, including many of which who served as key pieces to the team’s 2009 Super Bowl Championship.

“There will be new faces, there will be new guys making plays. But I don’t think the Saints are anywhere out of contention at all. I think if anything we’re getting better.” -Sean Payton

We’ll look at the Top 10 ‘Drainers’ of the team’s 2014 Salary Cap, and give our two pennies as to what will happen with some of them. Keep in mind, when we state restructure, that means pay cuts or a re-working of the deal.
