#11 - Ramon Humber, Linebacker

Ramon Humber has been a member of the Saints since the 2010 season, and is he’s primarily known more for his Special Teams play. Many don’t look at him as a big threat at inside linebacker because of his smaller stature, but Humber played in all 16 games for the Saints, and actually had pretty good stats for the amount of playtime he saw. He took 158 snaps on defense this season, and finished with a +0.5 rating from Pro Football Focus.

2014 Outlook: Humber reminds me of Jonathan Casillas. He’s one of those guys that aren’t exactly valued as much as many should. If he leaves, he will do good things for another team. He has the benefit of being an inside linebacker, which the Saints are relatively thin at, but that’s not a bad thing when you have David Hawthorne and Curtis Lofton. I like for him to be back on the team.
