Everyone by now knows the easy byline—Saints have road woes and cannot win a playoff game away from the Mercedes Benz Superdome.  These bylines are easy substitutes for real analysis of any road loss this year.  Along the way to the Eagles game, the Saints have given this lack of analysis the weight it deserves and stated they will change their gatorade, travel sweats, and the pre-game beefy mac recipe.  Robert Meachem went even further and campaigned for reinstate of Popeyes on the Plane.

Saints fans voiced their approval and sent Popeyes to the Saints facility this week.  The fans so easily understand the tone of the Saints response.  They have always appreciated Coach Sean Payton’s answers to facile questions from reporters because they, too, live outside of conventional wisdom and have happily become Who Dats braving the disapproval of others who wish them to “Just Be Serious.”  Hence, the Popeyes on the Plane Campaign

The Saints got evidence this week the fans get the absurdity the 4th ranked offense can’t win a playoff game on the road with the 4th ranked defense.
