I know, the season ain’t over yet. It’s far from over! So why are you writing this article now, you ask? Well, first of all, to give you an early look at some college players so that we can compare early impressions to later evaluations once we’re deep in the offseason. Secondly, I love speculating over college prospects/team needs and playing a little Mickey Loomis. I mean, why not? It’s fun!

We’re taking a look at Matt Miller’s (@nfldraftscout) first seven-round mock draft. In case you’re wondering who he is check this out. Miller’s draft order is based on the already assigned top 20 picks, plus playoff seedings for the teams playing in January. According to this criterion the Saints hold the 22nd overall pick.
