NEW ORLEANS SAINTS
Feels good to have Drew back to his standards, isn’t it? 28.82 fantasy points and a huge win, what else can we ask for? St. Louis really can pressure opposing QBs but if the offensive line puts up another excellent performance like the one against Carolina nothing can stop Drew Brees from being Drew Brees.
Drew Brees – Week 15
Neither Darren Sproles nor Pierre Thomas really took advantage of the great job by the offensive line: both failed to score more than 7 fantasy points. This week the running/screen game should be heavily utilized by Sean Payton to slow down Robert Quinn and Chris Long so both Sproles and Thomas have low-RB2 value.
See? I told you Colston was going to get back to his old self! With 24.50 fantasy points last week he was tied with Josh Gordon for the best fantasy WR of the week. Way to go, Marques! St. Louis is allowing the 15th-most fantasy points to wide receivers so Lance Moore could have a nice bounce-back game.
I honestly don’t know what to write about Jimmy Graham. Must-start in every fantasy league you’re in. Yes, that includes basketball.
Over the last four weeks Hartley is just the 24th fantasy kicker due to that horrible Seattle game and think twice before starting him this week: St. Louis allows the 2nd-fewest fantasy points to kickers. Graham Gano (v NYJ), Jay Feely (@ TEN) and Ryan Succop (@ OAK) are a few candidates you can use to replace Hartley this week.
Will they eventually score a defensive touchdown? I’d take a punt return too! It’s pretty amazing to think that the Saints have a top-20 scoring defense without a touchdown or a safety but now we want more. Bring one back in da house, Keenan!
