The Saints issued their injury report for today, and it’s not as bad as you think.

DID NOT PRACTICE

DT Brodrick Bunkley (Ankle)
S Rafael Bush (Ankle)
LB Keyunta Dawson (Calf)
DE Glenn Foster (Knee)

LIMITED

T Zach Strief (Ankle)

FULLY PRACTICED

CB Keenan Lewis (Hamstring/Abdomen)
T Bryce Harris (Thigh)

The most encouraging news is that Zach Strief’s injury isn’t as serious as we might have first thought. Strief suffered an injury against the Seahawks, which sidelined him in favor of Bryce Harris.

As for the rest of the injured Saints, it is all on the defensive side of the ball. Dawson & Foster were out of Monday’s game, and the Bunkley & Bush injuries are relatively new.

As always, we’ll find out the final injury status heading into Sunday’s matchup with the Panthers. Inactives won’t likely come out until around 6:00/6:30PM CST.

With the Saints dealing with their loss, and then not being able to head home on Monday night, it took away from potential practice this week on an already shorter timeframe.

One thing is for sure, we’ll need all sorts of personnel to help Rob Ryan solve for Cam Newton and company.
