Saints Thursday Injury Report

We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, enjoying time with your friends, family, and loved ones. Sure, this is technically yesterday, but in case you missed it, we bring you yesterday’s injury report from the Saints big matchup against the Seahawks.

DID NOT PRACTICE

DE Glenn Foster (Knee)

LIMITED

CB Chris Carr (Hip/Hamstring)

FULLY PRACTICED

G Jahri Evans (Ankle), RB Darren Sproles (Ankle)

It’s likely the smallest injury report we’ve seen this season, and it is refreshing to see the Saints healthy for once. Sproles & Evans did not play against the Falcons on Thursday Night Football, and I somewhat suspected that a huge reason was because the Saints were looking ahead to the Seahawks, and rather than risk injury, they’d rest two integral pieces of their offense.

At this point, there’s little to suggest that Chris Carr won’t play against the Seahawks, and as for Glenn Foster, it’s nice to see that he wasn’t put on injured reserve following him being carted off the field against the Falcons.

As always, we’ll keep an eye on the injuries, and with the game being on Monday Night, it is good that the team has an extra day to get healthier. The only downside for Coach Payton is deciding who to deem inactive, but I’m sure he’d rather that than have a pile of injuries.
