Don’t adjust your screen, as the Friday’s Injury Report for the Saints is an exact replica of Thursday’s. Call it Deja Vu.

FULLY PRACTICED

G Jahri Evans (Ankle), RB Darren Sproles (Ankle)

We cannot stress the importance of both Evans & Sproles practicing fully, and potentially being 100% for this important game against the Seahawks.

There’s nothing wrong with putting in Tim Lelito, as he did a more than adequate job filling in for Jahri Evans, which was something most fans were uneasy about in the first place, but oh those undrafted rookies!

As for Sproles, Thursday Night’s game was the first he missed this season. Evans missed his second game of the season against the Falcons, as his previous was against the Cardinals.

Quietly, Chris Carr has made a huge impact with that Saints, and that’s likely an understatement. Carr originally wasn’t sure if he was going to play football this season, but made the decision in March to play, and that he still has ‘another few seasons left in him’. He has bounced around with the Saints, being signed three times (6/11, 9/17, 11/5) & released twice (8/31, 11/1). Given his hybrid ability, and the fact the injuries have depleted the Saints secondary, he will stay on, and is more important to the team than anyone probably gives him credit for.

We’ll get one more update tomorrow, but don’t expect a big change, as the Saints should be traveling to Seattle.
