Saints Wednesday Injury Report

Wow, that time again already!? The Saints first injury report is here for the battle against the 49ers. Better late than never, but here we go!

DID NOT PRACTICE
LB Curtis Lofton (Hamstring/Ankle)
S Kenny Vaccaro (Concussion)
TE Ben Watson (Concussion)
DT Akiem Hicks (Back)

LIMITED
TE Jimmy Graham (Elbow/Foot)
DE Cameron Jordan (Ankle)

FULLY PRACTICED
S Roman Harper (Knee)
DE Tyrunn Walker (Knee)
S Malcolm Jenkins (Hamstring)

Contrary to popular reports, Kenny Vaccaro has not been ruled out for Sunday’s game, yet. Clearly, it was likely a rookie mistake letting everyone know he was not going to play. Call it a false start.

On a side note: There’s been some buzz about the former Raven/ex-Texan, Ed Reed (who is a New Orleans native), potentially joining the Saints. However, at this point, he’s cleared waivers officially, and there is a very short list of teams that Reed would choose at this point, or that would want Reed on their team. It would have to be a contender, that’s for sure.

As we are used to by now, the initial injury report is nothing to get crazy over. We’ve seen guys fully practice, and then not play on Sunday. It’s just the beginning. However, you have to feel good about Jenkins/Harper fully practicing!

Stay tuned for more!
