Let’s start here. The football world wishes nothing but the best for Coaches John Fox & Gary Kubiak.

John Fox is recovering from surgery, which repaired a heart valve defect. The surgery is reportedly a success at this point, and that Fox is okay. Fox was playing golf during the bye week, became extremely light-headed, and was suffering from chest pains. He was taken to the hospital, where the surgery was later performed.

Gary Kubiak was released from the hospital today, but if you watched the game Sunday Night, you saw the disturbing scene of him collapsing while the teams headed to the locker room for halftime. It was reported that Kubiak had suffered a transient ischemic attack, a condition that temporarily stops blood flow to the brain and causes stroke-like symptoms.

The football world is happy to hear that these coaches are doing well, as they are highly respected.

As for Week 9, what a weird one. There were a ton of close games, comebacks, storylines, and blowouts. Pretty much all you could ask for in a football week I’d say. We thought the Bengals would comeback to open the week on Thursday Night, but then Cameron Wake happened, earning the Dolphins a huge upset win. Of the thirteen games this week, nine of them were decided by 7 points or less.
