The Bills have the 5th best rushing offense in the league – and the credit goes mainly to Fred Jackson. C.J. Spiller is one of the biggest disappointments so far in fantasy football but it’s hard to give up on your first/second pick, isn’t it? He is listed as doubtful for the game and I don’t think he will see much playing time due to that bad ankle that is tormenting him (and his owners). So the pigskin will be carried by #22:
I wouldn’t start any other Bills player because of the bad matchup against the Black and Gold defense.
As I was saying…START THE SAINTS DEFENSE! Defensive End Cameron Jordan is listed as questionable but the front seven will be able to create pressure anyway. Watch out, Thad. I’m starting our guys in three leagues – elsewhere they stole ‘em.
Bad news: Jimmy Graham will be gametime decision but coaches may decide to hold him back, let him rest and have him back 100% in week 9. Ben Watson (owned in 0.8% of fantasy leagues) had 61 receiving yards against the Patriots and if Graham doesn’t play he might be a nice fill-in with 576 teams on a bye this week.
Good news: Moore is back! No Jimmy = ball MUST go to receivers. Moore, Colston and Stills will have a big game, don’t be afraid to start them.
As far as running backs, start Sproles if you own him, otherwise get Thomas if you can. And start him.
