Here we go again.
The classic Tom Brady vs. Drew Brees is set to resume on Sunday when the New Orleans Saints visit the New England Patriots for a major showdown.
Want to know something funny? Brees has dominated Brady throughout both of their careers to this point and holds a 3-0 advantage all time.
Not bad. ESPN’s Mike Triplett has more details:
Does this one need any explanation? Two of the NFL’s all-time greatest quarterbacks will go head to head for just the fourth time in their careers and the first time since 2009. Saints quarterback Drew Breeshas been playing much better than New England’s Tom Brady so far this year – in large part because injuries have plagued the Patriots’ offensive weapons. Brady had a very uncharacteristic performance in last week’s 13-6 loss at Cincinnati (18-of-38, 197 yards, no touchdowns, one interception late in the fourth quarter).
So yes, Brees has a major advantage heading into the matchup in more ways than one. How do you think the matchup between two of the best quarterbacks in NFL history will go down?
