The New Orleans Saints are prepping for a massive showdown with Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, but the team is once again missing a few key players as the matchup approaches.
A few big names missed practice again on Wednesday, including receiver Lance Moore, safety Roman Harper and defensive lineman Tyrunn Walker.
Here is the rest of the report per Mike Triplett of ESPN:
Starting right tackle Zach Strief was a new addition to the New Orleans Saints’ injury report Wednesday. He was held out of practice with an ankle injury. On a positive note, running back Mark Ingram returned to practice on a limited basis after missing the past three games with a toe injury.
Five players were limited Wednesday — Ingram, cornerback Keenan Lewis (knee), safetyMalcolm Jenkins (neck), defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley (calf) and linebacker Ramon Humber (leg).
While just how bad each injury truly is will not be revealed just yet, expect more updates as we move closer to the big game. Perhaps the most interesting name is Mark Ingram. Maybe he’ll be the spark the running game needs?
What do you think of the injury situation?
