In case you never heard of it the Dave Dameshek Football Program is a podcast segment hosted by Dave Dameshek, a football expert from NFL.com, a former ESPN and CBS analyst and “an accomplished Connect Four player”, as he likes to point out. Twice a week Shek and other football guys (like Adam Rank, Dan Hanzus, Henry Hodgson, Chris Wesseling, Daniel Jeremiah just to mention a few) give their opinions on all things NFL-related and kibitz about many other things.
This week on episode #195 (part II) the crew gives Saints DE Cameron Jordan a call, after Dolphins WR Brian Hartline joined them in DDFP #195 (part I). You can give it a listen here.
The interview begins with a question about the Cameron Jordan-Jordan Cameron confusion and when Jordan is asked if he will line up against the Browns tight end comes Pro Bowl time, he answered:
Sure, he’s a tight end, that’s cool, it’s sort of my job to destroy tight ends anyway so I guess I’ll have even more fun doing that!
On how much Rob Ryan means to this team the young Saint said:
I mean, he’s a great defensive coordinator…he’s done a lot of things just to easy up a lot of vocab and really let us loosen and let us play.
Listen to the full episode to find out what Cameron Jordan has to say about Jimmy Graham, Tony Gonzalez, the importance of “Dome-field” advantage and music!
