Brees Does Brees

An absolute near-perfect outing by Drew Brees on the night, as he finished 30/39 for 413 yards, 4TD, and 0 interceptions. Brees also eclipsed his 10th career 400 yard passing game, which is only 3 shy of Dan Marino’s record. He also has the most 400 yard games of any quarterback since 2006.

The offense didn’t get much support on the ground, as they only rushed for 68 yards on the night. Brees spread the ball around quite a bit on the night. He targeted Jimmy Graham & Marques Colston the most, with 8 targets. What’s crazy is Colston didn’t have a catch until the 2nd half.

Brees also found Ben Watson for his first touchdown as a Saint.

It started with our first possession on Offense!!! First of all, it should have been a first down.. It was probably a half of a link?? If that!!! OK.. They didn’t give it to us.. 3rd and half inch and you call a RB around the edge play??? WTF!!! That play starts 4yds behind the LOS!!! QB sneak!!! Bad call… Should have been a TD and that would have started the game differently 7-7.. Then 3 and out and we moved the ball again… It would have been a statement to march down the field on our first possession!!! Then it went down hill after that… Bad spot, but even more.. And bad call by Sherman!!!

MY FAVORITE COACH OF MY FAVORITE TEAM, THE SAINTS, MUST ADDRESS THE LOSS OF TWO TOUCHDOWNS AND A MAKEABLE FIELD GOAL. I AM PROUD OF THE ENTIRE TEAM, BUT THEY MUST BE TALKED TO AS A TEAM ABOUT HAPPENINGS THAT CAUSES THE LOSS OF SURE POINTS. THERE WILL BE GAMES WHERE IF THIS STUFF HAPPENS WE WILL LOSE BECAUSE OF IT. THE WHOLE TEAM HAS TO GO TO CHICAGO WITH THOSE THREE SCORING LOSSES TURNED OVER AND OVER LIKE AN OVER DONE HAMBURGER PATTY!! WHO DAT SAY WE CAN’T FIX DAT! WHO DAT!!
