We’re through one quarter from New Orleans on Monday Night Football and the Saints hold a 7-3 lead over the Miami Dolphins. Let’s take a quick look at how things are turning out for the Saints so far.

The Good

- Miami has no answer for Darren Sproles as a receiver. The Saints came in with a clear gameplan and it’s working in a big way.

- The defensive line is dominant and rookie John Jenkins is as impressive as it gets.

The Bad

- The defense is having serious trouble stopping the run. Great job to hold Miami to a field goal, but more consistency against the run will dictate the pace of the game and how often the ball is in Drew Brees’ hands.

-Jimmy Graham has been quiet so far. May be because of the Dolphins defense, or simply the Saints being smart enough to use him as a decoy. Either way, Graham needs to be involved at some point.

Injuries

-None

Saints 7, Dolphins 3
