Saints vs. Bucs (Second Quarter Reaction)

Wow. This is an extremely rough game to watch.

The Bucs have 7 penalties for 61 yards.

The Saints are outgaining the Buccaneers in total yards 239-92, and only have 10 points to show for it.

Garrett Hartley misses a 43 yard field goal.

Jimmy Graham (who has no business being in the Top 100 right?) has set a career high in the FIRST HALF with 8 catches for 156 yards, and a score.

I have been a huge Mark Ingram supporter/defender for a while, but after this, he’s clearly not the power back anyone thinks he should be. Mickey Loomis will have some interesting decisions to make before Week 6 (NFL Trade Deadline). Ingram started the day with an 8 yard rush, and now only has 6 rushes for 15 yards.

Saints have a good bit of work cut out for them, and everyone should have a sense of urgency going into the 2nd half.

At least the defense is playing well.

The Bucs will receive the 2nd half kickoff, and we may just have to rely on the defense to help us with this game.
