Sean Smith

The Miami Dolphin made his appearance on HBO’s Hard Knocks series and showed that he had attitude and the skill set to go with it as he famously battled with former wide receiver Chad Johnson.

Smith is an opposing force at 6’3 and 218 lbs. which the Saints haven’t seen in a while in their average size cornerbacks at 6’0 and 190 lbs.  His frame allows him to match up in size and height with bigger receivers that Saints corners usually have trouble with.

His best season came this year with 59 tackles, 3 forced fumbles, and 2 interceptions.  He had a similar one in 2011 with 52 tackles and 2 interceptions.  It’s unknown how big of a contract Smith wants in free agency but he’s worth a look.
