The New Orleans Saints will now have four players in the upcoming Pro Bowl as tackle Jermon Bushrod will join quarterback Drew Brees, punter Thomas Morstead, and guard Jahri Evans.
Bushrod will take the place of San Francisco 49ers Joe Staley after the team advanced to the Super Bowl following the victory over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
He is not the only replacement though since Brees is also making the trip due to the fact Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III can’t play due to having surgery on his knee to repair damage to his ACL and LCL.
According to the Saints website, this is the fourth consecutive year that the team has at least four members of the team headed to the Pro Bowl.
