NFC Wild Card Playoff games for this weekend; who to root for

The NFC playoff games are ready for a weekend of wild card teams that will actually setting the stage for some teams who are playing pretty tough right now.

Depending on if your team made it in or not, some will be rooting for a particular one to knock off certain hated rivals.  Here are the scenarios for this weekend and the route for the winning teams after that.

This Saturday the Minnesota Vikings(6th Seed) will travel to face the Green Bay Packers(3rd Seed) at 7:00 p.m. CST on NBC.  On Sunday the Seattle Seahawks(5th Seed) will travel to play the Washington Redskins(4th Seed) at 3:30 p.m. CST on FOX.

The Atlanta Falcons would then take on the lowest winning seed from the Wild Card round while the San Francisco 49ers would face the highest winning seed the following weekend.  Both teams have a first round bye.

Here are some scenarios to lead up to the Jan. 12-13 matchup:

Packers win/Vikings lose, Redskins win/Seahawks lose—–>Packers vs 49ers, Redskins vs Falcons

Packers lose/Vikings win, Redskins lose/Seahawks win—–>Seahawks vs 49ers, Vikings vs Falcons

Packers win/Vikings lose, Redskins lose/Seahawks win—–>Packers vs 49ers, Seahawks vs Falcons

Packers lose/Vikings win, Redskins win/Seahawks lose—–>Redskins vs 49ers, Vikings vs Falcons
