Tonight at 6:00 p.m. CST on NFL Network, the 2013 NFL Pro Bowl roster will be announced and Saints punter Thomas Morstead could finally see some recognition that fans have felt he has been lacking since 2009.

Morstead finished ahead of all punters in fan voting with 104,563 votes.  Depending on how the rest of the voting and postseason goes, Morstead could be one of just a few Saints on the roster.

Quarterback Drew Brees is listed as being 9th overall in fan voting with 578, 753 votes.  This is ranked as second in NFC quarterbacks with Green Bay Packers Aaron Rodgers getting 777, 827 votes.

In fact it’s actually the Packers who lead the NFC roster in fan votes with Rodgers, fullback John Kuhn(181,820), center Jeff Saturday(312,013), kick returner Randall Cobb(131,626), linebacker Clay Matthews(343,514), and strong safety Charles Woodson(117,230).

The only other vote out of the Saints NFC South division came for Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety Ronde Barber with 121,031 fan votes.  Barber actually has played cornerback his entire career with the Bucs and made the move to safety this season under new head coach Greg Schiano.

Likewise, Woodson also made the move from cornerback to safety this season and would make his fifth consecutive Pro Bowl if he plays, but his first at safety.
