The practice for the New Orleans Saints on Thanksgiving stayed the same as the day before but the progress of offensive tackle Zach Strief(groin) and running back Darren Sproles(hand) was promising.

Those players that did not practice were:  defensive end Junior Galette(ankle), offensive tackle Charles Brown(knee), cornerback Corey White(knee), cornerback Elbert Mack(concussion), and linebacker Ramon Humber(illness).

Strief was once again limited but interim head coach Joe Vitt said that he was responding well to yesterday’s practice and would likely increase his workload depending on if he keeps improving.

Sproles was full in practice and though Vitt wouldn’t confirm anything yet, he’s likely that he’ll suit up against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
