Also the Saints defense will have something to look out for if quarterback Colin Kaepernick starts for the 49ers. Kaepernick never looked anything like a second year backup as he threw for 243 yards and two touchdowns last night. His RGIII-ish running when the pocket breaks down is scary.
The Saints are dead last in the NFL in overall defense and passing defense. Their rushing defense has tightened up to 26th in the NFL and 49ers running backs Frank Gore and Kendall Hunter will push that number.
Saints players and staff said that they will be not only watching game film, but last night’s game as well. Needless to say, plenty of studying will be needed for this test on Sunday if the Saints want to keep marching on.
38 years old and Louisiana born and raised. I am married with a beautiful daughter. Became a Staff writer for Who Dat Dish in May 2011 and Editor in April 2012. Became a New Orleans Saints fan at a young age from my grandmother. She loved the Saints and passed that love of the Black and Gold onto me. I have a passion for football because I feel that it mirrors life in many ways: No matter who you are or where you come from, anyone can achieve their goals on any given day.
