New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees not only had a stellar day in a win against the Oakland Raiders, he also extended two NFL records that he currently holds.

Brees hit tight end Jimmy Graham on their first series for a touchdown extending his streak of consecutive games with a touchdown pass to 53.  The only person close to Brees on that list that is currently playing is New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady with 42.

The second record that Brees holds sole possession of is games with 20 or more pass completions.  He left the Oakland with his 45th game where he had such a number and completed exactly 20 passes.
