Two Saints out against Broncos; two more questionable

In an injury report yesterday interim head coach Joe Vitt said that two New Orleans Saints won’t be playing against the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

Wide receiver Joe Morgan(chest) and tight end Daniel Graham will not play in Mile High Stadium.  Vitt also gave a brief glimmer of other injuries to tight end Jimmy Graham and linebacker David Hawthorne.

Graham has been dealing with and ankle injury and missed last week’s game versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  He’s been doing “air” drills this week but it’s not looking promising for his to play.

Hawthorne has a nagging hamstring injury and has missed a considerable amount of practice up until this week.  Vitt said that Hawthorne was practicing “quicker.”  This sounds a bit more promising that he will be possibly able to return to the linebacking corps for Sunday.

Hopefully both players will be ready for game against Denver if not good luck Saints. Quess they have someone else that can step up to fill in for these positions.
