New Orleans Saints try to avoid Tropical Storm Isaac; will leave for Cincinnati today

The New Orleans Saints announced that they will be departing in advance of Tropical Storm Isaac by departing for Cincinnati today at 5:30 p.m.(CT) to prepare for their Thursday preseason game against the Tennessee Titans.

The agenda that was given for the Saints is as follows:

Tuesday-Practice at Paul Brown Stadium during the day then have scheduled team meetings later that evening.

Wednesday-Morning walk-thru for the team and then depart Cincinnati for Nashville that afternoon.

Thursday-Preseason game against the Titans then team will depart immediately for New Orleans.

The team was given off yesterday in order to let players plan for their families and other matters since Isaac was predicted to impact the Louisiana Gulf Coast when it makes landfall early late Tuesday/early Wednesday.
