New Orleans Saints resume practice after the weekend off

The New Orleans Saints were allowed the opportunity to decompress a bit after a hectic road trip start to the preseason.  Players were given the weekend off after returning from playing the New England Patriots this past Thursday night.

Up to that point, the team has been on the road for a week due to the fact that they also had to play the Arizona Cardinals in the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio on August 5th.

It’s back to work though for the team since they will  have their third preseason game this Friday against the Jacksonville Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. CDT.  Luckily for the team and the fans, this game will be played locally in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

In preparation for the Jaguars, the Saints will return to practice today and go through the rest of the week up until Friday.  Practice’s begin at 8:50 a.m. and end at 11:30 a.m.

As always, practice is open to the public, weather permitting, and entry along with parking is free.
