New Orleans Saints defensive backs; injury scares highlight Wednesday practice

Patrick is cementing his spot on the roster with a hard hit against wide receiver Devery Henderson causing a fumble.  Patrick would later intercept Brees during the first series of red zone drills.

Johnson is making the most of his time he has with another great day where he broke up several Brees’ passes in the red zone to tight end Jimmy Graham and wide receiver Adrian Arrington.  His fight to make the final roster is looking very good if he continues with these type of days.

While some fans may be concerned about the offensive struggles, it can be looked at that maybe the offense isn’t necessarily faltering, it could be the fact that the newly injected Steve Spagnuolo defense is just that good.

This is what we looking for if our defense is stopping the best offense in the NFL that means the defense is on the ball, not meaning the offense is not good this means something has changed. All good Saints keep up the good defense guys we want to be the best. GO SAINTS GO!!
