With all the turmoil surrounding the New Orleans Saints offseason, it is good to know that the team is back with a positive vibe around training camp. With the upcoming preseason opener on August 5 vs. Arizona, football is right around the corner.

Here is a completely subjective view for how the team will do in the upcoming season:

Week 1 – VS. Washington – WIN

I think the Saints will come out with a fire and intensity to open the season. This should be a no-contest type of win, as Washington has a rookie QB playing in the dome. Expect the offense to light up the scoreboard and the defense to keep RG3 in check.

Week 2 – @ Carolina – WIN
This will be most likely a much closer game, as most within the division always seem to be. This game has a chance to go either way.

Week 3 – VS Kansas City – WIN

If this game was in Kansas City, I could see a different outcome. I think the Saints have a much greater advantage playing this one at home.

Week 4 – @ Green Bay – LOSS
I don’t think the Saints will have enough in this one, as the Packers will once again be one of the favorites to go to the Super Bowl. It will most likely be a high flying affair, and sure to be an entertaining one.
