The New Orleans Saints have been having standing room only practice sessions for the past few seasons and it stands to look that way this year as well.
Ever since the arrival of Drew Brees, the Saints practice facility has had that game-time feel to it with fans showing out in droves waiting in the sweltering heat for a glimpse at the promise of a championship season.
This training camp will be even more special since now Brees is back with his five-year contract extension and fans will be crowding the fence to see the red #9 jersey back on the field.
Some fans who came out to the organized team activities(OTA) sessions got a chance to see the new defense in action but that was against Brees’ understudy, Chase Daniel.
Now the offense can begin to work as they have before with Brees leading them in his fast-paced cadence that will test incoming rookies and get the veterans back on track.
The defense will also have to face the challenge set before them with his laser accurate throws and decisive decisions. We’ll also see if rookie defensive back Corey White will live up to his boast that he will pick Brees off in practice.
