Vitt in the statement stated that he was appealing the suspension citing his hard work to gain the respect of his players and condemning former defensive coordinator Gregg Williams actions.
Yet he also made sure to include that he was respectful of Goodell’s decision but simply wants to be heard. Vitt also has spoken with the media including this past Tuesday unlike Payton and Loomis.
Of course, the one mark that Vitt has against him is that he was named as a person of interest in a case involving missing Vicodin pain pill from the team’s facility also.
Vitt never really came out and spoke against this charge and the incident was quickly swept underneath the rug and forgotten about until the investigation began into the alleged “pay for performance” system”.
Still Vitt probably has the best shot out of any of the three to have their sentence reduced and join the team a bit earlier than anticipated.
