With questions surrounding what will happen with the New Orleans Saints this season, none is more curious than some players that were signed at the end of the season.  We’ll look at one named Josh Victorian.

Born July 10, 1988 in New Orleans, Victorian went on to play high school football for the Destrehan Wildcats.  He played both cornerback and safety where he recorded 14 interceptions during his junior and senior year.

He attended college at Louisiana Tech where he played from 2007-2011.  During his college career, Victorian totaled 87 tackles with 4.5 for a loss, five interceptions with one returned for a touchdown, and 27 passes defended.

Victorian went undrafted in the 2011 NFL Draft, but signed with the Baltimore Ravens in July 2011 and was then waived by the team on 9/3/11.

He was then signed to the New England Patriots practice squad on 9/22/11.  Victorian would then begin a back and forth of being released and then resigned to the squad until his final release on 11/24/11.

Victorian would sign a reserve contract to join the New Orleans Saints on 1/18/11.  He is listed as being on the roster but has yet to be assigned an official number yet.
