New Orleans Saints schedule a visit with defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley

The New Orleans Saints have Denver Broncos linebacker Joe Mays scheduled for a visit today and will also have one of his teammates defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley in as well.

According to several media sources, the Saints will visit with Bunkley on Sunday.  This is the same day that linebacker Curtis Lofton is scheduled to visit as well.

The visit will probably be due to the fact that the team is looking to improve on the front line and current defensive tackles Shaun Rogers and Aubrayo Franklin didn’t make much of an impact last season and haven’t been re-signed.

Bunkley is a former 2006 NFL Draft first round pick for the Philadelphia Eagles where he played for four seasons.  He was traded after defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins was signed during the “Dream Team” experiment.

For his career Bunkley has 187 tackles and six sacks.  Last year for the Broncos Bunkley registered 43 tackles.
