It was announced this morning that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have agreed to terms with former Detroit Lions cornerback Eric Wright.

Wright is a former second round 2007 NFL Draft pick for the Cleveland Browns where he stayed until 2010.  Wright then signed with the Lions in 2011.

He had an excellent year for the Lions and had four interceptions which matched his career high that he had in 2009 with the Browns.  For his career, Wright has 323 tackles, one sack, and 13 interceptions.

The only knock that analysts give Wright is that while he is a great player, he can also be very inconsistent and get torched for big gains as well.
