In what has been speculated for weeks now about New Orleans Saints Defensive Coordinator Gregg Williams has just been confirmed by NFL Network’s Jason LaCanfora.

LaCanfora is reporting that New Orleans Saints Defensive Coordinator Gregg Williams is in fact leaving the Saints and  has been hired by the St. Louis Rams as their new Defensive Coordinator.  The news comes as no surprise but was expected to be announced tomorrow at the Saints final press conference for the season.

Candidates to replace Williams are former Rams Head Coach Steve Spagnuolo, former Jacksonville Jaguars Head Coach Jack Del Rio, and Miami Dolphins Defensive Coordinator Mike Nolan.
