It’s a move that I thought might happen next year but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers didn’t to seem to want to wait that long.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported a few moments ago that Raheem Morris has been fired after a disappointing season that started the Bucs at 4-2 with ten straight losses to end the season.
The Bucs started off strong and looked to back up Morris and his belief that they were the “best team in the NFC South”. Morris had replaced all the veteran players when he took over three years ago and replaced them with all young players. A move that gave them the label of being a “youngry” team.
Morris, while young himself, will probably find a job somewhere as another head coach or a coordinator. Schefter reported that the Bucs organization was looking for a change of culture with the firing. It’s also reported that most of the current coaching staff will be let go as well.
