In Week 15 of the NFC South, the New Orleans Saints will attempt to get one step closer to gaining the #2 seed in the playoffs.  The Atlanta Falcons are also eyeing the prize as they are beginning to peak.

New Orleans Saints(10-3) vs. Minnesota Vikings(2-11):  The Saints have already clinched a Wild Card spot in the playoffs but are wanting to improve on that with a #2 seed.  To do that, they will travel to Minnesota to face the Vikings.

What should be a blowout on paper, is also being called a trap game by members of the media.  Granted after what happened to the Saints in St. Louis and some recent squeakers, Who Dat’s will be popping blood pressure medicine during pre-game.

The Vikings have nothing to play for except the role of spoiler and according to RB Adrian Peterson, to help fantasy football players stats.  Peterson has been out for several weeks with an ankle sprain but will return to face the Saints on Sunday.

The Saints will be without their running back Mark Ingram(turf toe) and LB Jonathan Vilma is questionable with a knee issue.  The Saints need three more wins and the San Francisco 49ers to lose for the #2 seed to be theirs.  If the defense tightens up, this should be one down with two home games to go.

My pick for the winner:  New Orleans Saints
