Sharper’s return in 2010 was not the same that we saw in 2009 and was only brought in for certain defensive packages.  When the season ended, his return was up in the air but most knew it didn’t look promising for him.

Sharper was unsigned by the Saints at the start of this season and his #42 was issued to rookie defensive back Isa Abdul-Quddus.  He worked out for several teams like the New England Patriots but was never signed.

His interest now turns to sports broadcasting and Sharper is actively pursuing it by doing the Sharper’s Image blog and some recent work with New Orleans television station WDSU with Saints coverage.
