The NFC South is still in a three team conflict of who will take the division.  Two teams will make or break themselves in an important game on Sunday.

New Orleans Saints vs. Atlanta Falcons:  Surprisingly, there hasn’t been too much hype surrounding this game on Sunday.  However, both teams know how important this match up is for control of the NFC South.

The Saints are ailing right now with a few injuries as they head to Atlanta.  Linebacker Jonathan Vilma is listed as being out for a second consecutive game.  On a good note, cornerback Tracy Porter could possibly play even though it was originally thought he could miss the game for certain.

The Saints, who are 6-3, have their work cut out for them as they face a two-headed monster in Atlanta’s passing and running game.  Saints fans usually wouldn’t be nervous, but the Saints defense has been suspect on occasions, dominant one game then junior varsity-like the next.

The Falcons, who are 5-3, don’t have any injuries of note and will have both wide receiver’s Roddy White and Julio Jones for the game.  They would love to hand the Saints a loss and move up to 6-3 and take the lead in the division.  The Falcons struggled at the beginning of the season but are slowly back to their old form.

My pick for the winner:  New Orleans Saints(but by a hair)
