New Orleans Saints in-actives: running back Mark Ingram, linebacker Jonathan Vilma, corner Johnny Patrick, full back Korey Hall, wide receiver Adrian Arrington, defensive end Jeff Charleston, and tackle Ray Willis.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers in-actives: wide receiver Sammie Stroughter, corner Myron Lewis, linebacker Zac Diles, guard Jeremy Zuttah, tackle James Lee, defensive end Tim Crowder, and defensive tackle Frank Okam.
Tight end David Thomas is active for the first time since suffering a concussion against the Houston Texans in week three.
New Orleans flirted with the idea of placing him on injured reserve, but instead decided to wait out his recovery.
Middle linebacker Jonathan Vilma will not play in something of a surprise. He sat out practice all week, which he has done in previous weeks, while nursing a sore knee that has so far not kept him out of a game.
Vilma captains the defense and call most all the adjustments on the field for the defensive line and secondary.
The Saints have yet to fully disclose who will start in his place, but given that Will Herring is active at outside linebacker then Jo-Lonn Dunbar will likely take over the start for Vilma in the middle.
