As with the last game against the Carolina Panthers, the Saints will face a hungry, motivated team looking to prove themselves against the same. Nothing would boost morale for the Buccaneers than a win on Sunday.
The Saints offense has been doing a great job so far and Brees has putting on a show that ends up being a gamechanger every Sunday. The run game is going smooth as is with the receiving corps.
The Saints defense will get a remix basically of the Panthers when it comes to the Buccaneers offense. QB Josh Freeman is accurate as well as mobile in the pocket. He’s also extremely hard to bring down when tackled.
The Buccaneers will be without RB LeGarrette Blount(MCL sprain) and possibly DT Gerald McCoy(ankle), who are two major weapons. However, this doesn’t mean the Buccaneers won’t play at full speed and are not still a threat.
The Buccaneers proved last season that they are a young team on the rise and feel that, as Head Coach Raheem Morris stated last year, they are the “best team in the NFC South”.
My pick for the winner of this game: New Orleans Saints
