New Orleans Saints Issue Injury Report For Friday

New Orleans Saints Head Coach Sean Payton issued an injury report for Friday afternoon after practice and was reported by Times-Picayune reporter Mike Triplett.

Wide receiver Devery Henderson (calf) was listed as questionable and practiced on a limited basis today.  Also listed as questionable was LB Will Herring (hamstring) and C Olin Kreutz (knee).

LB Martez Wilson (shoulder) was listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers.  That will be a big hit to special teams as Wilson has performed well in that area.

No surprise that TE David Thomas (concussion) and RT Zach Strief (knee) are listed as out.  Strief has at least 2-3 weeks he’ll be out and the Saints actually worked out two tight ends recently(New Orleans Saints Try Out Two Tight Ends) to deal with Thomas and his injury.

The one bright spot that the report showed was that LB Jonathan Vilma is listed as probable for the game Sunday.  Vilma returned last week after missing the Houston Texans game with a knee injury.
