Everyone has regretted saying something at one point in their life.  Philadelphia Eagles backup QB Vince Young is probably thinking that very thing this Sunday evening.

It has become almost as famous as the “take my talents to South Beach” quote from Lebron James.  At the beginning of the NFL season, Young made the now famous “Dream Team” comment about the Philadelphia Eagles roster.

He was of course referring to the roster full of names like CB Nnamdi Asomugha, DL Cullen Jenkins, CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, WR DeSean Jackson, and QB Michael Vick.

The Eagles made headlines about the busy free agency and trades that they made.  Of course, they scooped up Young who was probably thinking he had won the lottery by the Eagles snatching him up.

Young probably wishes he could take back his comments from that fabled press conference.  Jenkins recently stated that he wished the “Dream Team” statement had never happened, as reported by NFL Network reporter Albert Breer.

What was supposed to be the start of something in a dream, has turned into a nightmare for the Eagles who are now 1-3 after a one point loss to the San Francisco 49ers this afternoon.
