Saints CB Tracy Porter Celebrates After His Game Clinching Interception (Source:

Jonathan Vilma, Tracy Porter out for the New Orleans Saints

Middle linebacker Jonathan Vilma did not practice this week after injuring his knee in the second quarter during the New Orleans Saints win over the Chicago Bears last week.

He did return to the game and finish, but the Saints are siding on the side of caution. He will not play today against the Texans, giving the start to backup middle linebacker Jo-Lonn Dunbar.

Starting cornerback Tracy Porter will miss his second consecutive game this week, Porter has batttled a calf injury since week one and he had returned to practice in a limited capacity and seemed to be doing well.

Cornerback Patrick Robinson will start in place of Porter, forcing Leigh Torrence into the top nickel corner spot.

Other players inactive for the Saints: wide receiver Marques Colston, kicker Garrett Hartley, offensive tackle Matt Tennant, defensive tackle Tom Johnson, defensive end Jeff Charleston.

Other players that appeared on the injury list but will play: safety Johnathon Amaya, wide receiver Adrian Arrington, linebacker Jonathan Casillas, defensive end Junior Galette, safety Roman Harper, and wide receiver Lance Moore.
