Voodoo Man, who I came to know later as David, greeted me in a calm manner.  I asked if it was possible to grab a picture with him and the Voodoo Krewe.  He politely told me that was no problem and would be happy to do it.

I talked with Voodoo Man for a few minutes and was surprised to find him to be very easygoing.  With a smooth demeanor, he was well spoken and very friendly.  As the crowd began to fill our section, he told my wife and I goodbye and we headed back to our seats.

My wife and I discussed how he wasn’t what we were expecting.  “It’s weird how he was so calm, but errie at the same time,” my wife whispered.  “He’s kinda just like your average Saints fan,” I answered back.

We then both noticed that he pulled out what appeared to be a heart with blood on it.  I knew right then and there, this wasn’t your average Saints fan and wanted to know more about him.
