New Orleans Saints: Unrestricted Free Agents Drawing Outside Interest

While the New Orleans Saints have some unrestricted free agents that still need to be resigned, these players could soon find homes in other cities, according to Phil Lasseigne of the New Orleans Saints News.

One of the latest rumors is that the Chicago Bears are showing interest in signing left tackle Jermon Bushrod, who is arguably one of the biggest free agents the team needs to resign given their lack of depth at the position.

It’s only the second day and he will eventually recieve interest from across the league. He will sign somewhere as a solid starting left tackle if the Saints can’t reach some kind of a deal to keep him.

Safety Usama Young is reportedly being looked at very hard by the Cleveland Browns, a team from Young’s home state.

Scott Shanle, the team’s outside linebacker who may not get a lucrative offer from the Saints, has had interest shown in him by the St. Louis Rams, Cincinnati Bengals and finally the Cleveland Browns.

With all of the player movement by the Saints unrestricted free agents, hopefully there is a few more positive reports coming ftom management announcing that some of these guys are resigning with the Saints.
