New Orleans Saints: Seattle Seahawks Interested In DE Jimmy Wilkerson

source bleacherreport.com

DL Jimmy Wilkerson is one of many defensive free agents for the Saints, even though he began to show signs of life late last season, it was probably too little too late.

The Saints drafted Cam Jordan and Greg Romeus, with Jordan being grabbed by the Saints at number 24  in the first round, now  there is probably not enough room for Wilkerson.

Jimmy Wilkerson is set to visit the Seattle Seahawks on Friday, according to one league source. The Saints are trying to re-sign all of their free agents including DL Jimmy Wilkerson, but he is a low priorty for the Saints right now.

With Wilkerson only seeing a limited amount of playing time during the 2010 season, he still finished the season tied in sacks with starter DE Alex Brown, both ended the season with 2 sacks.
